Centuryply Design Awards 2024



Introduction

We are now inviting nominations for the Century Ply Decorative Design Awards from the house of CenturyPly and a subcategory under the prestigious Architect & Interiors India Aces of Space Design Awards 2024. You are among the few architects handpicked to be eligible to nominate yourself, on the basis of your excellent work!

For those of you not in the know, Aces of Space Design Awards pay tribute to the architects, interior design firms and designers making their mark in India. As befitting an industry no longer in its infancy, the awards will hail work that displays original thinking, creative breadth and a willingness to stray from tried and tested formulas.

Under this glamorous umbrella, the Century Ply Decorative Design Awards aims to provide architects and interior designers with an opportunity to showcase their creative vision across multiple categories – designing a space from scratch that spotlights an imaginative use of veneers. And the reward? A chance to have your work graded by an award-winning jury and be felicitated at the glittering awards night in Mumbai, graced by eminent names in the industry across the nation.

Instructions

Please read the following carefully:

  1. CenturyPly users have been personally informed about these awards. In case you are an architect/interior designer who wants to apply for these awards but you've not received a mail from the team at CenturyPly or Architect and Interiors India, please contact Raj Ramnani at +91 9730 33 3990/ raj.ramnani@os.itp.com for further steps.
  2. These awards have no entry/nomination charges.
  3. Your designs must showcase the creative use of veneer from the Century Design Library.
  4. You are welcome to send in your nominations across multiple categories as you see fit.
  5. You can then click on the nomination form, and fill in the categories you wish to apply for.
  6. The last date for sending in nominations is December 2nd but we suggest you don’t wait until the last date.
  7. Submissions will be in the format of 3 A1-size jpg/jpeg, detailing the design process. Further details can be found below.

• A concept note explaining the design and its elements

• Technical drawings (may include 3D sketches, zoning, plans, or any innovative detailed drawing)

• Final renders (minimum 2 design views)

Judging Criteria

40% –For integrating the use of the right products as per the design and layout

30% – Concept and creative usage of space

30% – Creative and Visual Execution

Important Dates:

Last date of receiving nominations: December 2nd, 2024

The Grand Awards: December 20, 2024 in Mumbai

PS: Please fill out all forms online and submit relevant documents wherever necessary.

You can only nominate yourself for one specified area under the main category - for eg, only one entry for Veneers Residential will be considered, either a living room OR a master bedroom.

Century Ply Decorative Veneers Design Awards – Residential


This award recognizes the year’s best residential project and the innovative use of veneers in the design - in the subcategories of designing a living room (500-600 sq ft) or a master bedroom (200-400 sq ft). Nominations for the award should feature an imaginative use of at least one product from the Century Design Library for veneers (the link to which can be found above).

Century Ply Decorative Veneers Design Awards - Commercial

This award recognizes the year’s best commercial project and the innovative use of veneers in the design - in the subcategories of designing a Director's cabin (600-700 sq ft) or a common workspace/workflow (3000-5000 sq ft). Nominations for the award should feature an imaginative use of at least one product from the Century Design Library for veneers (the link to which can be found above).
