ARCHITECTURE
- Hospitality & Leisure Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best hospitality and leisure project. Nominations for the award should acknowledge projects or project designs that are socially and environmentally responsible and translate the brief innovatively. This category includes hotels, restaurants and resorts. - Residential Project of the year
This award recognises the best residential project. Nominations for the award should acknowledge project designs of stand-along homes that are designed keeping location, sustainability and innovative use of material and form in mind. - Apartments and Townships
This award recognises the best residential project. Nominations for the award should acknowledge projects or project designs that enhance the lifestyle of the client, steer sustainability and location specific design, and translate the given brief to achieve a balance between function and form. - Commercial Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best commercial project. Nominations for the award should acknowledge projects or project designs that provide an excellent working environment for employees, at the same time making the most of sustainable initiatives in a sector that is traditionally very energy reliant. - Mixed use Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best mixed-use structure featuring a combination of one or more categories, such as hospitality and commercial or residential and commercial. - Restoration Project of the Year
This award recoganizes the best restoration project. Nominations of this project must acknowledge the authenticity and originality of work done and at the same time focus on repair and adaptive reuse of the space. - Sustainable Design of the Year (Concept & Finished Projects)
This award recognises the year’s most environmentally sensitive project. Nominations for the award should acknowledge projects that embody a commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Nominations can adhere to any of the criteria for any internationally sanctioned (i.e. LEED, GRIHA etc.) sustainability assessment tools. - Public/Institutional Project of the Year
This award has been instituted to recognise architectural excellence for buildings or complexes in public or private sector for education, government, social, cultural, health or administrative purposes. - Façade Design of the Year (Residential / Commercial)
This award recognises the year’s best Façade Design Residential / Commercial project). Nominations should acknowledge projects or project designs that provide a character and face to a particular project. - Landscape Design of the Year
This award endeavours to recognise innovative work by landscape architects and provides the opportunity for landscape architects from across the country to be recognised on this stage. The nominations should acknowledge design ideas and resolution of those ideas, as well as innovation and Implementation of the ideas on ground. - Unbuilt Project of the Year
This award endeavours to recognise an architect’s innovative work that has not yet been built. Residential, commercial buildings, public structures, interior architecture, community projects, monuments, parks, transportation infrastructure, or anything else architectural can be submitted for this award.
INTERIOR DESIGN
- Hospitality & Leisure Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best hospitality and leisure project interior design in its entirety; be it a hotel, resort or restaurant. - Residential Project of the year
This award recognises the year’s best interior design for a residential space in India. Here the focus will be on the innovative use of material, form and location. - Commercial Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best interior design for a corporate office space or place of business in India. Here the focus is on designs that help in improving productivity and enhancing creativity along with translating the design brief to its requirements. - Retail Project of the year
This award recognises the year’s best interior design of a retail outlet, shopping mall, or standalone unit in India. Here the focus would be on creativity and consumer centric design. - Public/Institutional Project of the Year
This award has been instituted to recognise Interior excellence for buildings or complexes in the public or private sector for education, government, social, cultural, health or administrative purposes. - Living Room Design Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best interior design of a living room, maybe for a villa or apartment, in India. - Kitchen Design Project of the Year
This award recognises the year’s best interior design of a kitchen, maybe for a villa or apartment, in India. - Washroom Design Project of the Year Residential / Commercial
This award recognises the year’s best interior design of a bathroom, maybe for a villa or apartment or hotel, in India. - Use of Lights in Interiors
This award recognises the year’s best usage of light in the interior design of a retail outlet, shopping mall, or standalone residential unit in India. - Use of Stone in Interiors
This award recognizes the year’s best use of stone as a material in the interior design of a retail outlet, shopping mall, or standalone residential unit in India. - Kitchen Design Project of the Year
Special Awards
- Outstanding Student Thesis Award
This award aims to encourage final-year students studying architecture and focuses on research and writing on architecture and interior design in India.
- Best National Young Designer Award (Only past iGen winners can participate)
- Best International Young Designer Award (Entry by Invitation Only)

- The registration fee for Aces of Space Design Awards is INR 5,900.00 (inclusive of 18% GST)
